9. Formal Translation And now, plead for the face of God {El, Hearer of Supplication} so that He may be gracious to us. With this coming from your hand, will He show favor to any of you? says the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Commander of Armies}. |
9. Dynamic Translation So now, ask God {El, Giver of Favor} for kindness. When what you offer comes from your hand, will He accept any of you? says the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Divine Judge}. |
