10. Formal Translation Do we not all share one Father? Has not one God {El, Universal Creator} created us? Why does each man act treacherously against his brother, profaning the covenant of our fathers? |
10. Dynamic Translation Do we not all have one Father? Has not one God {El, Divine Maker} made us? Why then does everyone betray his own brother, treating the covenant of our ancestors as unholy? |
