19. Formal Translation And Jesus {Iesous, Joy-Bringing Bridegroom} said to them, “Can the attendants of the bridal chamber fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they are not able to fast.” |
19. Dynamic Translation Jesus {Iesous, Celebrating Bridegroom} answered, “Do members of the wedding party fast while the bridegroom remains with them? As long as he remains with them, they cannot fast.” |
