21. Formal Translation
No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth onto an old garment; otherwise, the patch that fills it pulls away from it—the new from the old—and a worse tear results.
21. Dynamic Translation
Nobody repairs old clothing with a patch of unshrunk cloth; if they do, the new patch will pull away from the old fabric, and a rip becomes worse.
