The interrogative ti tauta dialogizesthe en tais kardiais humōn {τί ταῦτα διαλογίζεσθε ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν | tí taû-ta dia-lo-gí-zes-the en tais kar-dí-ais hu-mōn} ‘why are you reasoning these things in your hearts?’ uses fronted ti for emphasis and the repeated en to highlight the concealed realm of their thoughts that Jesus discerns.
