38. Formal Translation For anyone ashamed of Me {Iesous, Suffering Son} and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man {huios tou anthropou, Righteous Judge} will be ashamed of that person when He comes in His Father’s {pater, Radiant Source} glory with the holy angels. |
38. Dynamic Translation If anyone is embarrassed by Me {Iesous, Demanding Allegiance} or by what I say in this unfaithful and sinful generation, the Son of Man {huios tou anthropou, Returning Judge} will be embarrassed by that person when He comes in His Father’s {pater, Majestic Presence} glory with the holy angels. |
