47. Formal Translation
And if your eye causes you to stumble, cast it out; it is good for you to enter the kingdom of God {Theos, Righteous Judge} with one eye rather than, having two eyes, to be thrown into Gehenna of fire.
47. Dynamic Translation
If your eye leads you into sin, tear it out; it is better for you to enter God’s {Theos, Saving King} kingdom with one eye than, still having both eyes, to be thrown into the fire of hell.
