Focus only on your own achievements, since family history does not matter much

Treat the past as interesting, but let it have no effect on how you live

Use family history mainly to prove that your side matters more than others

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, you entered our human family line to save sinners like me. I admit that I have sinned and cannot make myself right with God. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to come into my life and lead me from this day on. Amen.

Receive Christ Into My Family Story

Lord, revive your Church so we do not lose what you have done through the generations. Give us faith to honor those who came before us, humility to learn, and courage to pass your truth to those who come after us. Make us a people who carry your faithfulness forward, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your People Across Generations

Bring these to God: the parents, grandparents, mentors, and believers who shaped your faith; the prayers, wisdom, and kindness they left behind; gratitude for the ways God carried you through them.

Thank You for the Faithful People Before Me

Pray by naming one younger person, asking God to give them wisdom and steady faith, then asking how you can support them this week.

Pray for the Next Generation

Pray for the children, teens, and young adults in your family or church; ask God to guard their hearts, give them wise examples, and make them strong enough to continue what is good.

Bless the Children and Young People Around You

Lord, thank you that you work through generations. Help me honor what I have received, heal what is broken, and become someone who passes on faith, wisdom, and love to those after me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
