Take time to help someone grow before expecting public responsibility

Rush people into visible work before they are formed

Keep learning private so only a few benefit

Avoid going where people already live and need help

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I have sinned and gone my own way. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. You are Lord, and I need your teaching and your life. Make me your disciple and lead me in your truth. Amen.

Become My Lord and Teacher

Lord, revive your Church with the humility to learn before we lead. Make us ready to receive your instruction, willing to go where you send us, and faithful to speak your word in the towns and neighborhoods where people live. Wake us from comfort and send us out in love, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Us to Learn and Go

Father, thank you for Jesus' patient care in forming his disciples before he moved on. Thank you that your kingdom work includes learning, growing, and then serving in real places. Help me value both preparation and mission, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Patient Preparation

Start by naming one person, place, or responsibility where you need to grow. Ask God to make you teachable, to help you listen well, and to show you the next faithful step for serving others.

Ask for the Next Faithful Step

Pray for: teachers and mentors to invest wisely in others; disciples to receive correction with humility; local churches to carry God's word into everyday communities.

Pray for Those Who Teach and Receive

Bring these to God: a readiness to learn before leading; patience to be formed over time; courage to move beyond comfort; a desire to serve faithfully in ordinary places.
