If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I have lived for myself instead of under your rule. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive you as my Lord. Bring me into your kingdom and lead my life from this day on. Thank you for saving me. Amen.

Receive the King

Lord, your kingdom is still advancing even when it is opposed. Wake up your Church where we have grown passive, and give us a holy urgency to seek your reign with prayer, courage, and humility. Keep us from harshness and from delay, and make us faithful until your purposes are seen, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Awaken Your Church to Seek Your Kingdom

Father, free me from treating your kingdom as something to think about later. Give me steady faith, clear obedience, and perseverance when there is pressure around me. Help me pursue you with a willing heart and without harming others, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Free Me from Passivity

Begin by naming one area of life where you have been passive. Ask God to make you alert to his rule there, then ask for one concrete next step you can take today in faith.

Pray Over One Delayed Area

Pray for: believers facing opposition; people trying to follow Jesus in hard places; leaders who need courage without cruelty; and anyone who is hungry for God's reign but feels wearied by resistance.

For Those Under Pressure

Father, thank you that your kingdom is not fragile and that your reign continues from then until now. Thank you for every sincere seeker and for the way you draw forceful determination toward what is good. Keep my heart grateful, awake, and ready to follow you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
