If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned, trusted my own wisdom, and lived apart from the Father’s way. I turn from my sin and from pride. I believe you died for me and rose again. I confess you as my Lord and ask you to lead me into the Father’s light and truth. Amen.

Receive the One Who Reveals

Father, revive your Church where we have grown self-important and hard to teach. Strip away pride, worldly status, and the need to seem impressive. Make us a people who receive your truth with childlike trust, and let the nations see that your wisdom is alive among the lowly. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church in Humility

Give thanks for the Father’s kindness in making his truth known to the humble, for Jesus’ grateful response, and for the way God rules heaven and earth with wisdom that is not controlled by human status.

Thank You for Revealing Truth

Pray by naming one area where you may be leaning on your own insight, ask the Father to show you the truth you need, and then ask for a childlike heart to receive and obey.

Pray for a Teachable Heart

Father, I do not want to be proud or closed off. Teach me to listen, to admit what I do not know, and to welcome what you reveal. Give me a humble spirit that can receive your truth and live by it, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Me Receivable

Pray for people who feel overlooked, unqualified, or confused, that the Father would open their eyes, calm their fear, and draw them into confident trust as his children.
