Say Yes to Jesus

Father, revive your Church to trust your good will as Jesus did. Where we resist your purpose, soften us; where we are restless, make us willing; where we have chosen our own way, turn us back to joyful obedience. Let our prayers become a fuller yes to you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew the Church's Yes

Father, we thank you that your will is wise, good, and worthy of trust. Thank you that Jesus gives us a perfect example of willing agreement with you. Grow in us a grateful heart that can say yes to what you desire, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for a Good Will

Start by naming the decision that feels hard. Tell God where you are resisting, ask him to show you his good purpose, and ask for a willing heart to follow it today.

Pray Through a Hard Choice

Bring these before God: the places where you want control; the fears that make surrender difficult; a desire to trust the Father's wisdom more than your own plans; the need to keep listening until your heart can rest.

Learning a Willing Yes

Pray for someone who is waiting on God's answer: that they would recognize his will as good, receive peace while they wait, and find strength to keep trusting without bitterness.
