14. Formal Translation
And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: “In hearing you will hear, and you will certainly not understand, and seeing you will see, and you will certainly not perceive.”
14. Dynamic Translation
So the prophecy of Isaiah is coming true for them: “You will keep on hearing but not comprehend, and you will keep on seeing but never truly perceive.”
