14. Formal Translation And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: “In hearing you will hear, and you will certainly not understand, and seeing you will see, and you will certainly not perceive.” |
14. Dynamic Translation So the prophecy of Isaiah is coming true for them: “You will keep on hearing but not comprehend, and you will keep on seeing but never truly perceive.” |
