They are asking Jesus to explain the shortage

Tell Jesus plainly what you actually have, even if it feels small

Wait until you can bring something impressive

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you with little to offer and a need I cannot fill. I admit that I have sinned and fallen short of your will. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as my Lord and trust you to receive me. Take my life, provide what I lack, and lead me from now on. Amen.

Bring My Need to Jesus

Lord, revive your Church where we hide our limits or pretend we are full when we are empty. Make us honest, humble, and ready to bring what little we have to you. Teach us to trust your power with small loaves, small gifts, and small faith, and let many be fed through what we surrender, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church's Honest Offering

Father, when my resources feel too small, help me bring them to you without shame. Supply what I do not have, and show me the next faithful step with what is already in my hands, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Provide for What Is Missing

Lord, thank you for the bread and fish in front of me, and for every small provision I might overlook. Teach me to receive your gifts with gratitude instead of complaint, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Grateful for Small Gifts

Start by naming what you actually have, then name what you still need, and ask Jesus to use the small thing you can offer. End by thanking him before you see the outcome.

Pray Honestly About Your Limits

Pray for people who feel embarrassed by what they lack, that they would find courage to speak honestly and peace to trust Jesus with the small supply they have. Pray also for eyes to see that nothing given to him is wasted.
