Ask Jesus for his word, then move only if he calls

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord. Call me to yourself and lead me in your way. Amen.

Lord, Call Me to Yourself

Lord, revive your church to answer Jesus with trust. Where we have been cautious, doubtful, or slow to obey, wake us up. Teach us to call him Lord, to ask for his word, and to step forward when he speaks, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People to Listen and Obey

Pray by naming one uncertain step in front of you, ask Jesus whether it is truly him, and ask for courage to move only if he leads.

Pray for a Clear Call

Father, thank you that Jesus does not stay far away, but invites people to come near. Thank you for Peter's bold request and for the grace to bring our uncertainty to you. Help me respond with grateful trust, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Calling Us Near

Pray for a friend facing a risky decision, that Jesus would make his direction clear; for someone who wants certainty before obeying, that God would steady their heart; and for a conversation that helps them recognize Christ's voice.

For Those Who Need Direction

Bring these before God: a heart willing to ask before acting; grace to obey when Jesus speaks; freedom from fear that keeps you stuck; and a growing trust that Christ can lead you step by step.
