Pause and acknowledge the help you received before rushing ahead

Act as if nothing changed and never give thanks

Assume the calm means you never need to be watchful again

Use the relief only to brag that you handled everything alone

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you needing mercy and peace. I admit that I have sinned and cannot rescue myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Speak your peace into my life and lead me out of fear into your care. Amen.

Peace in the Storm

Lord, revive your Church to trust you when the winds rise and to rest in you when the storm goes quiet. Make us steady, thankful, and ready to help others who are still afraid, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church in Calm Faith

Father, thank you for every moment when you quiet what is raging and bring rest to my heart. Keep me from forgetting your kindness when the pressure lifts, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Stillness

Name the situation that feels unstable, ask God to calm what you cannot control, and then thank him for the first small sign of peace you notice.

Pray Through the Storm

Bring these to God: the fear that lingers after a hard season, the relief you feel when the noise finally settles, and the grace to rest instead of bracing for the next wave.

Peace After the Noise

Lord, be near to everyone who is still in a fearful storm. Calm what is raging, guard them from despair, and let your quiet presence steady their steps, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
