Let the memory strengthen trust and gratitude for today's need

Assume the old help has no bearing on what happens now

Focus only on what is missing and ignore what God has already done

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess my sin and my need for mercy. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. Forgive me, be my Lord, and lead my life. Teach me to trust you with my needs and to remember your care. Thank you for receiving me. Amen.

Receive Jesus as Lord

Lord, revive your Church to remember your faithful provision. Where we have become anxious, make us grateful; where we have forgotten your past help, make us attentive; where we have lived as if you were absent, wake us up to your care. Make us a people who trust you and point others to your generosity, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
