Sell the servant, his wife, his children, and everything he owned to settle what was owed.

Cancel the debt and let the whole household go free.

Delay the debt and let the servant try again later.

Ignore the debt and leave the household unchanged.

Admit it early and work out a realistic plan.

Promise more than you can deliver to buy time.

Pass the burden to other people without warning.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I cannot pay what I owe before God. I turn from my sin and ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord and receive your mercy and new life. Amen.

Release Me From What I Owe

Father, revive your Church where we have become careless with promises, slow to repent, and cold toward people under pressure. Give us honest hearts, compassionate hands, and wise stewardship. Wake us up to serve families well and to reflect your mercy in a burdened world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People in Honesty and Mercy

Father, when I lack the means to settle what I owe, give me courage to face it honestly, wisdom to make a realistic plan, and favor to find practical help. Keep me from hiding, overpromising, or burdening others through denial, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
