If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and lived apart from God's will. I turn from my sin and trust you to save me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I receive you as the fulfillment of God's saving promise for my life. Amen.

Receive the One God Has Spoken Of

Lord, renew your Church with confidence that your word reaches completion. Where we have become skeptical, hurried, or careless with Scripture, awaken us again. Make us a people who listen, wait, and rejoice when you bring what you have spoken to pass, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew the Church's Confidence

Father, thank you that your spoken word is not empty and that you bring your promises to completion. Teach me to remember your faithfulness when I cannot yet see the outcome, and to praise you when your word proves true, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Praise for a Word That Comes True

Pray by naming one promise or Scripture you are waiting on, asking God for patience while you wait, and thanking him for being faithful even before you see the result.

Pray for Patient Trust

Pray for people who feel delayed or discouraged: that God's word would steady them, that they would not lose hope in the middle of waiting, and that they would see his faithfulness at the right time.

For Those Still Waiting

Lord, I confess that I often doubt your word when fulfillment takes longer than I want. Forgive my impatience and unbelief, and teach me to trust you until what you have spoken is completed, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
