Go where God opens the door and serve faithfully there

Stay back until the perfect opportunity feels secure

Assume being delayed means you have no place to serve

Serve only if you receive special recognition first

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and gone my own way. I cannot make myself right with God. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Forgive me, turn me from my sin, and bring me into your life and your work. I confess you as my Lord and Savior and give you my whole heart. Amen.

Come Into Your Work

Lord, awaken your Church from passivity and hesitation. Where we have stood idle, call us back to your work; where we have grown self-protective, send us into your vineyard with humility and joy. Make us ready to serve wherever you place us, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Send Your Church Into the Field

Father, look with mercy on those who long for work and cannot find it. Open the right doors, provide daily bread, and keep them from discouragement while they wait. Let no one feel forgotten by you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For Those Without Work

Pray by naming one place where God may be calling you to serve. Ask him to remove hesitation, give you courage to go, and show you the next faithful step.

Pray to Respond Quickly

Thank God that he sees people who were overlooked and still makes room for them in his work. Thank him for the mercy of being invited, for the dignity of service, and for his care toward those who had no open door before.

Give Thanks for the Invitation

Pray for people who feel unwanted, unseen, or passed over in life. Ask God to remind them that he sees them, calls them, and still has a place for them in his care and service.

For the Overlooked
