If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I turn from my sin and from trusting myself to save me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to lead my life. Help me know you truly and follow you with all my heart. Amen.

Receive Jesus as Lord

Lord, awaken your Church to recognize Jesus truly and to speak of him with courage. Deliver us from vague words and half-knowledge. Make us a people who honor your Son, listen to him, and point others to him, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Speak of Jesus Clearly

Thank God for the way Jesus can be recognized even through ordinary voices and ordinary places. Thank him for every clear glimpse of who Jesus is, and for the mercy of being led from rumor toward truth.

Thank You for Revealing Jesus

Pray by naming one place where your view of Jesus feels unclear. Ask God to show you Jesus more clearly, to help you receive his words, and to give you humility while your understanding grows.

Ask for a Clearer View

Pray for someone who knows Jesus only by reputation. Ask God to move them from rumor to faith, to help them see Jesus clearly, and to give you kind words that point them toward him.

Pray for Someone to Recognize Him

Lord, help me listen to Jesus as your prophet, not just as a familiar name. Teach me to value his words, obey what he says, and speak of him clearly in everyday life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
