Whether Jesus plans to answer with another question

Babies who still depend on milk are named

Make room to listen, value, and encourage their praise

Wait until they are older before treating their worship seriously

Let only polished adult speech count as meaningful praise

Enjoy their enthusiasm privately but keep them out of worship

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you with a humble heart. I admit that I have sinned and that I cannot make myself right with God. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as my Lord and my Savior. Teach me to follow you and to praise you with childlike faith. Amen.

Come to Jesus with Simple Faith

Lord, revive your Church so that we do not despise simple faith or overlook small voices. Make us joyful to hear praise from children, and give us hearts that honor the humble worship you delight in. Wake us up from pride, restore wonder, and let our praise rise with fresh life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive the Church's Praise

Thank God for the way he receives sincere praise from the least likely voices. Give thanks that children matter to him, that simple worship is heard by him, and that his kingdom values humility over performance.

Thanksgiving for Unexpected Praise

Pray by naming one place where you have preferred polish, status, or control. Ask God to make you humble enough to welcome simple praise, listen carefully, and respond with faith like a child.

Pray for a Childlike Heart

Pray for children in your church, home, and community: that they would be heard, protected, and encouraged to praise God. Pray also for anyone whose voice is often dismissed, that they would find welcome and a place to speak.

For Children and Overlooked Voices

Lord, forgive me for times I have valued the impressive and ignored the sincere. Grow in me a teachable spirit, a gentle ear, and joy when you are praised in simple ways, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
