You will receive it only after proving yourself worthy

You will receive it through your own effort

You will receive it only if you stop asking

Pray about it, but assume nothing will really change

Ask God, but depend mainly on your own effort to make it happen

Wait until you feel certain, and then pray

Bring your request to God in prayer and keep trusting him with the outcome

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and gone my own way. I need your forgiveness and your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you with my life. I confess you as my Lord and ask you to receive me. Amen.

Receive Jesus in Faith

Lord, revive your Church to be a people who ask in prayer and believe. Where we have grown weary or merely formal, breathe fresh trust into us. Make us bold to bring every need to you and steady enough to wait for your wise answer, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Our Praying Church

Father, thank you that you invite us to bring our needs to you in prayer and do not turn away those who come with faith. Thank you that your answers are wise, and that you hear before we can see the result. Teach us gratitude while we wait, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Hearing

Name one need honestly, ask God for it in simple words, and then tell him you trust his answer. If fear rises, keep praying in the same honest way instead of hiding the request.

Pray the Request Clearly

Bring these to God: the places where your trust feels weak; a request you keep postponing; the habit of trying to control outcomes; the desire to believe before you see.

Growing Trust as You Pray

Father, I pray for the one who is waiting for an answer and losing courage. Help them keep praying, keep believing, and receive your peace while they wait, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
