To start a new message that replaces the earlier one

To prove the crowd already understood everything

To bring the earlier word through the prophet to completion

To show that the event had no link to Scripture

Hold Scripture lightly and act as if fulfillment is uncertain

Keep paying attention to God's word and wait with trust

Move ahead only when every detail is already visible

Treat prophecy as interesting history, but not as guidance

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I know I have sinned and cannot make myself right with God. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for fulfilling God's promise and bringing his word to completion. Lead my life from this day forward. Amen.

Receive Jesus and Trust His Word

Lord, revive your Church to believe your spoken word, to read Scripture with reverence, to wait patiently for your timing, and to live with confidence that you bring your purposes to completion, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Trust Your Word

Father, thank you that what you speak is not empty and that your promises come to completion. Teach me to notice your faithfulness, and help me respond with grateful trust, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Keeping Your Word

Name one promise or passage you are waiting on. Thank God for speaking it, ask him to bring it to completion in his time, and ask for patience to keep trusting while you wait.

Pray Over a Promise

Bring these to God: impatience with delay, doubt when fulfillment seems slow, and a desire to read Scripture expecting him to keep his word.

Growing in Patient Trust

Pray for people who feel stuck between a promise and its fulfillment. Ask God to strengthen their faith, calm their fear, and help them keep listening for his voice.
