They were trying to take him into custody.

Father, thank you that even in a room full of resistance, Jesus was still recognized for who he is. Thank you for every person who sees his true authority and speaks honestly about him. Make me grateful, clear-eyed, and unashamed, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
