Wait until honoring him is easy and convenient

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I have sinned and gone my own way, and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. I confess you as my Lord and King, and I want to make room for you in my life. Lead me from this day on. Amen.

Welcome the King

Lord, revive your Church to welcome Jesus with joy and humility. Free us from cold religion, pride, and half-hearted praise. Make us eager to honor your Son openly, to prepare the way for his rule, and to offer you our best, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Our Welcome

Thank God for the people in this verse who honored Jesus with what they had; thank him for ordinary things that can become worship; thank him for the worth of Jesus that draws a response from the heart and the hands.

Gratitude for a Worshiping Crowd

Lord, give me a willing and generous heart. When I am tempted to hold back, loosen my grip on what I own. Teach me to offer my time, my attention, and my resources gladly so I can honor Jesus, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

A Generous Heart

Pray by naming one thing you can place before Jesus this week: your time, a possession, a habit, or a plan. Ask him how to use it to make room for him, then choose one step you can take today.

Make Room for Jesus This Week

Pray for someone who has not yet welcomed Jesus, and for your church, family, and city to honor him openly. Ask God to turn quiet admiration into visible allegiance and joyful witness.
