They are loudly praising him as he passes

They are arguing about who deserves attention

They are quietly watching without speaking

Honor him openly and let his rule shape your choices

Keep your admiration private so it never affects decisions

Praise him only when others around you do

Use religious language while keeping control of your life

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and from ruling my own life. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I believe you are Lord, and I welcome you as my King. Come into my life and save me. Amen.

Receive the King

Lord, revive your Church so we do not stay silent when Jesus comes near. Stir us to recognize him, honor him gladly, and proclaim his praise with one voice. Renew our worship, our courage, and our witness so the world can see that he is worthy, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Let Your Church Welcome the King

Father, thank you for sending the One who comes in your name and with your authority. Thank you that Jesus is not distant but near, worthy of blessing and praise. Teach me to receive him with gratitude every day, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for the Coming One

Begin by naming Jesus as your King. Thank God for sending him, then confess one area where you need his rule today. End by asking for courage to honor him openly.

Pray the Crowd's Praise

Pray for people around you who have not yet recognized Jesus as King. Ask God to open their eyes, soften their hearts, and lead them from indifference into joyful praise.

For Those Yet to Welcome Him

Lord, give me a heart that honors Jesus not only with words but with choices. Help me welcome his authority in my schedule, relationships, and private decisions, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
