If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and deserve judgment. I cannot save myself. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Savior. Lord, wake your Church from careless living. Give us reverence for your warnings, repentance where we have drifted, and courage to speak truth with compassion. Let us not treat your judgment lightly, but live as people made holy by your grace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, where I have delayed obedience, I ask you to turn me back quickly. Expose hidden sin, soften stubbornness, and teach me to respond while there is still time. Give me a willing heart that listens and obeys, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, for anyone frightened by the thought of being shut out, meet them with the mercy of Christ. Replace despair with honest hope, and let your warning lead to repentance, not hopelessness, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Begin by naming one area where you know you need to change. Ask God to show you the first obedient step, confess what you have been postponing, and ask for a softened heart to follow through.

Praying Through a Warning

Pray for people who seem far from God: that they would hear the warning, turn before it is too late, and find mercy in Christ. Pray also for the courage to love them with truth, patience, and tears.
