Live humbly and invest your time in what lasts

Delay what matters, because there will always be more time

Measure life mainly by what you achieve before it ends

Avoid thinking about death so daily life feels easier

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I know that death is real and that I cannot save myself. I admit my sin and my need for your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again from the dead. I turn from my sin and trust you alone. Be my Lord and my Savior, and give me the life that even death cannot take away. Amen.

Life After Death

Lord, awaken your Church to live with eternity in view. Free us from delay, vanity, and dull hearts. Teach us to love well, speak truth clearly, and serve faithfully while we still have time, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Awaken Us to Our Days

Pray by naming one area where you have been postponing obedience, then ask God for the courage to act now and the wisdom to spend your limited time well.

Pray for Wise Priorities

Thank God for the life and time you have been given; thank him for the people you still have the chance to love; thank him for today as an opportunity to live wisely.

Give Thanks for Today

Father, I confess that I act as if time is endless. Forgive my procrastination, pride, and distracted living. Help me turn back to what is true, and give me a heart ready to obey today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Turn from Delay

Lord, be near to those who are grieving a death or fearing their own. Give comfort that is real, hope that is steady, and peace that reaches beyond the grave, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
