It matters only if nothing else is urgent.

It is a temporary rule for a special moment.

Choose obedience ahead of lesser priorities, even when it costs time or convenience.

Keep it in view, but let whatever feels urgent come before it.

Treat it as useful advice while deciding for yourself what matters most.

Reserve it for religious moments and ignore it in ordinary choices.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and put other things ahead of you. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive your mercy. I confess you as Lord and ask you to be first in my life. Thank you for saving me. Amen.

Make You First in My Life

Lord, revive your Church so we give you first place again. Forgive us for divided loyalties, for treating your will as secondary, and for living as if lesser things mattered most. Wake us up, renew our obedience, and make our love for you clear and wholehearted, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Restore First Place in Your Church

Start by naming one area where your time, attention, or habits are out of order. Ask God to show you what belongs first, listen quietly, and write down one obedient next step.

Pray About Your Priorities

Thank God that he does not leave you guessing about what matters most. Thank him that his commands can reorder your life, focus your love, and guide your choices.

Thank God for Clear Priorities

Pray for a heart that does not merely admire God's commands but chooses them. Ask for strength to let lesser concerns move back so what is right can move first.

A Heart Ready to Obey

Pray for people whose schedules and pressures leave little room for obedience. Ask God to give them clarity, courage, and freedom to put his will first.

For People with Crowded Lives
