If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, you are the righteous King, and I have sinned against your holy rule. I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as Lord of my life. Please forgive me, make me new, and lead me from this day forward. Amen.

Come to the True King

Lord, wake up your Church to the seriousness of evil and the beauty of your justice. Where we have grown casual about sin, make us holy; where we have ignored harm, make us brave; where we have become numb, make us compassionate and pure. Shape us into people who reflect your kingdom with truth and mercy, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Love Justice

Father, thank you that violence and injustice do not go unseen by you. Thank you that you are righteous, that you care about what is done in secret and in public, and that your justice is sure. Teach me to trust your rule and to honor what is right, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Holy Justice

Start by naming one wrong that has troubled you. Ask God to keep your anger from becoming revenge, and ask him for one wise, just step you can take.

Pray for people living with fear, grief, or trauma because of violence; for communities to protect the vulnerable; and for leaders to act with courage, fairness, and restraint.

Pray for a heart that takes wrongdoing seriously, refuses to make peace with evil, and learns to act justly with wisdom and compassion.
