Focus on the offering itself, since the visible gift gives it value

Treat the offering as holy in itself, apart from God

Measure devotion mainly by how impressive the gift looks

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I have been blind to what matters most. I cannot make myself holy. Receive Jesus and Find True Sight

Father, wake up your Church where we have become blind to what is greater. Rescue us from empty performance and outward religion, and teach us to honor your holiness above every offering we bring. Give us humble hearts, clear sight, and worship that is sincere, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Up Your Church to What Is Greater

Pray by naming one area where appearances have mattered too much. Ask God to show you what is truly greater, then ask for one humble step you can take today to honor him.

Pray for Clear Sight

Bring to God any time you have valued the gift, the image, or the performance more than him. Ask for forgiveness, a humbler heart, and a new willingness to honor what he calls holy.

Turning from Empty Offerings

Pray for someone you know who may be missing what matters most. Ask God to open their eyes, soften their heart, and lead them to his holiness and truth.

Pray for the Spiritually Blind

Father, thank you that you are the one who gives meaning to what we bring. Thank you that you see beyond outward show and can make even a small offering holy when it is given to you with reverence, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
