Listen with humility and discernment, not blind trust

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to rule my own life. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord and ask you to lead me in your truth. Come into my life and make me yours. Amen.

Come Under Your Lordship

Lord, revive your church where we have chased positions more than truth. Strip away pride, awaken reverence for your word, and make us a people who teach and learn under your authority. Give our leaders humility and our people discernment, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Us from Prideful Religion

Pray by naming one teacher, sermon, or spiritual voice you are hearing. Ask God to show you what is true, where you need humility, and how to respond wisely today.

Ask for Discernment

Thank God for any teacher who points you toward his truth, for the gift of Scripture-shaped leadership, and for the grace to learn without chasing status.

Thank God for Faithful Teachers

Lord, bless those who teach your people. Keep them humble under your word, clear in truth, and free from pride or performance. Let their authority serve your purposes and not their own, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Guard Those Who Teach

Bring these to God: a teachable heart, freedom from craving status, wisdom to honor faithful leadership, and courage to follow his truth above human approval.

Grow in Humble Teachability
