Ask God to cleanse your hidden life before you focus on appearances

Work on looking right in public, trusting the inside will catch up later

Treat outward behavior as more important than motives, since others can see it

Keep the inside private and concentrate on visible religious habits

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I cannot make myself clean before God. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Cleanse me from the inside out, and lead my life in your righteousness. Amen.

Clean Me From the Inside

Father, awaken your Church where we have become polished on the outside but weak in the hidden places. Expose what is unclean, cleanse our motives, restore integrity, and let our outward life match a pure heart. Make us a people who seek inner holiness first, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church From Within

Lord, I confess the places where I have cared more about how I look than who I am before you. Cleanse my thoughts, motives, and desires first. Let my private life be made true, and let my outward actions follow what you change in me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Search My Hidden Life

Pray by naming one area where you have focused on appearances more than heart change. Ask God to purify that hidden place first, and then to shape your visible actions so they match what he is doing in you.

Pray for Inner Purity

Bring these to God: one habit you want to change, one hidden motive you want exposed, and one ordinary place where you need your inside and outside to match.

Lead My Life With Integrity

Pray for pastors, teachers, and all who lead: that they would seek inner cleansing, not outward reputation; that their private lives would be honest before God; and that their public ministry would flow from a purified heart.
