Pray for a Watchful Habit

Bring these to God: procrastination in obedience, distraction that dulls your attention, and any habit of treating his call as distant. Ask him to wake you and make you ready now.

Turn from Spiritual Drowsiness

Thank God that he does not leave you guessing without purpose, but calls you to readiness as a gift of mercy. Thank him that watchfulness can be a hopeful way to live, not a burden.

Thank God for a Loving Warning

Pray for someone you know who has become careless or spiritually asleep, asking God to awaken their heart, renew their attention, and draw them back to readiness.
