Manage it carefully for the one who entrusted it to you

Keep it unused so you cannot be blamed for mistakes

Treat it as your own, since no one is around to check

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and handled my life as if it were my own. I turn from my sin and ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I give my life into your care. Lead me from this day forward. Amen.

Entrust My Life to You

Lord, awaken your Church to live like people who know they have been entrusted with your gifts. Renew our honesty, diligence, and humility. Deliver us from carelessness, waste, and self-interest, and make us faithful to use what belongs to you for your glory and the good of others, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Faithful Stewards

Start by naming one thing God has placed in your care. Ask him to show you how to manage it wisely today, where to be more faithful, and what one step to take next.

Pray Over What Has Been Entrusted to You

Bring thanks for the people, time, abilities, money, and opportunities God has placed in your hands. Thank him for trusting you with real responsibilities, and for helping you carry them well.

Thank God for Trusted Responsibilities

Father, I confess that I have sometimes treated your gifts as if they belonged to me alone. Forgive my waste, laziness, and pride. Turn me back to faithful stewardship, and help me honor you with what is in my care, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive My Carelessness

Pray for parents, leaders, teachers, workers, and anyone entrusted with responsibility: for honesty, wisdom, and perseverance; for them to use what they have for the good of others; and for God to guard them from selfishness.

Pray for Those with Responsibility
