the person who lacks loses even what they already have

the verse says nobody gains or loses anything

Use what you have faithfully so it can grow

Wait to act until you have far more than you do now

Assume growth will happen without any use or care

Focus mainly on what others have been given

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to live on my own. I turn from my sin and from trusting myself. I believe you died for me and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to come into my life and give me the life only you can give. Amen.

Receive the Life You Give

Lord, revive your Church so we do not neglect what you have placed in our hands. Make us faithful with small things, generous with what we have received, and awake to the increase you desire. Keep us from spiritual carelessness and teach us to steward your gifts for your glory, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Be Faithful

Give thanks for the gifts, opportunities, and responsibilities God has already placed in your life; for the grace to receive them with humility; and for the chance to see them as signs of God's care.

Giving Thanks for What Has Been Given

Father, help me not to bury or neglect what you have given me. Teach me to use it wisely, to trust you for growth, and to be content while you shape the increase, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Help Me Steward What I Have

Pray for people who feel overlooked or left with too little; ask God to strengthen them, provide what they need, and show them that his care is not small; pray that fear of loss would not swallow their hope.

For Those Who Feel They Have Little

Pray by naming one thing you already have, asking God how he wants you to use it, and then taking one small step of obedience this week.

Ask for Faithful Use
