Father, draw near to those who are ill, isolated, or behind locked doors. Give strength to bodies, peace to minds, and hope to weary hearts, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Near to the Sick and Confined

Pray for believers who visit hospitals, care homes, shelters, and prisons. Ask God to make them steady, gentle, and wise, and to open real opportunities for mercy and friendship.

Faithful Visitors for the Hurting

Pray by naming one sick, lonely, or confined person. Ask God what step of care you should take, then listen for one clear next action such as a visit, call, message, meal, or practical help.

Ask for One Concrete Step

Give thanks for every person who chooses presence over avoidance: the one who visits, checks in, drives, waits, listens, or advocates. Ask God to multiply that mercy in the Church and in your own habits.
