It is the way for them to do everything righteousness requires.

It means righteousness does not matter here.

Choose the right thing even when it feels inconvenient.

Wait until obeying is easy and costs little.

Do only what keeps everyone comfortable in the moment.

Follow the right path only after you have full certainty.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and followed my own way. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. I confess you as my Lord and Savior. Lead me in the way that is right and make my life belong to you. Amen.

Receive Jesus' Right Way

Father, revive your Church to love what is right more than what is convenient. Make us quick to listen, humble to yield, and willing to do your will even when it costs us. Let our lives show the beauty of righteousness to the world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church in Obedience

Father, thank you for Jesus, who chose the fitting path and showed us what obedience looks like. Teach us to receive your right ways with gratitude and trust, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Jesus' Example

Father, when the right thing feels delayed or inconvenient, give me courage to do it anyway. Help me care more about pleasing you than about comfort, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Help Me Choose What Is Right

Name one place where you are tempted to put convenience first. Ask God to show you the fitting thing to do, and ask him for the courage to do it today.

Pray for a Willing Heart

Pray for: a person who is wrestling with an inconvenient right choice; wisdom to see what righteousness requires; strength to follow through even when the decision is costly.
