From Shortcut to Trust

Lord, awaken your Church when we are tempted to trade trust for shortcuts. Teach us to hunger for your will, to resist compromise, and to care for people without grasping for control. Make us faithful in testing and humble in need, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Resist Compromise

Father, when a real need makes the wrong path look appealing, steady my heart. Help me wait for your care, refuse every compromise, and trust you more than the quickest answer, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Steady Me in the Test

Name the need that feels loud, ask God to show you where you are being tested, and then ask for one obedient next step instead of the fastest one.

Pray Through the Pressure

Bring to God the places where you feel pressure to prove yourself, to rush ahead, or to use good things in the wrong way. Ask him to show where your desire for quick relief is strongest, and to shape a steadier trust in him.

Surrendering the Shortcut

Pray for people whose needs feel urgent and whose choices are being tested. Ask God to provide what they need, strengthen their trust, and keep them from compromise.
