13. Formal Translation
You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt becomes tasteless, with what will it be salted? It is no longer useful for anything except to be thrown outside and trampled by people.

You are the earth's salt; but if the salt loses its flavor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled by people.
