45. Formal Translation So that you may become sons of your Father {Pater, Impartial Provider} who is in the heavens, because He makes His sun rise on the evil and the good, and He sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. |
45. Dynamic Translation In this way you will be children of your Father {Pater, Gracious Caregiver} in heaven, because He lets His sun rise on both the wicked and the good, and He sends rain on both those who do right and those who do wrong. |
