Lord, wake your Church to pray with humility. Make us alert to testing, quick to seek your help, and ready to trust your power to rescue us from evil. Renew our holiness, strengthen our faith, and make us a people who depend on you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, when temptation comes near, keep my feet from walking into it. Give me wisdom to turn aside, strength to resist, and courage to ask for help. Rescue me from what would harm me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Before a hard meeting, a risky habit, or a lonely hour, pause and name the place where you feel vulnerable. Ask God to keep you from testing and to show you the next safe step.

Thank God that he hears a simple prayer for help and does not leave his people alone in danger. Give thanks that his rescue is stronger than evil, and that his care meets us before we fail.

Thanks for Your Guarding Care

Pray for someone you know who feels pressured, tempted, or spiritually worn down: that God would guard their steps, rescue them from the hostile spiritual enemy, and surround them with wise friends and steady faith.
