If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and have judged others in my heart and words. I need your mercy and I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin, from pride, and from a condemning spirit. I confess you as Lord and ask you to make me new. Lead me to live under your mercy. Amen.

Come Under Your Mercy

Lord, revive your Church so we are slow to condemn and quick to show mercy. Break our pride, heal our divided speech, and teach us to leave final judgment in your hands. Make us a people who reflect your holiness with humility and grace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew a Merciful Church

Father, thank you that you are just and merciful, and that you do not deal with me only by the standards I use on others. Thank you for the restraint and kindness you show me. Help me live gratefully under your mercy, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Your Mercy

Lord, forgive me for the times I have been quick to judge, quick to label, and slow to listen. Put a guard over my thoughts and words, and teach me to respond with humility instead of criticism, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

A Guard Over My Tongue

Before you speak about someone, pause, name the person, confess any harsh judgment you feel, and ask God for a softer, truer response. Let the verse become a brief prayer before your words.

Pause Before You Evaluate

Pray for someone you know who feels labeled or condemned: that they would meet your patience, receive honest care, and know that God sees them with truth and mercy.
