Carry the person's need toward Jesus and trust him with what you cannot fix

Wait until the person becomes strong enough to come alone

Offer practical help, but keep spiritual need separate from prayer

Focus only on visible improvement and leave the deeper burden untouched

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I receive your grace and new life. Amen.

Receive the Forgiving Savior

Lord, revive your Church with faith that brings hurting people to you. Make us courageous enough to carry the weak, gentle enough to notice hidden pain, and quick to speak hope and forgiveness in your name. Renew our compassion and awaken us to trust you deeply, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church a Carrier of Mercy

Father, for anyone who feels paralyzed by fear, shame, or sorrow, meet them with the courage and forgiveness that come from Jesus. Lift what weighs them down, and let your mercy help them rise with hope, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For the One on the Mat

Name one place where you feel stuck. Ask God for courage, ask him to deepen your trust, and ask him to show you how to bring that need to Jesus instead of carrying it alone.

Pray for Courage and Trust

Give thanks for Jesus' compassion, for the way he notices trust, and for forgiveness that goes deeper than outward trouble. Thank him that his mercy reaches people who feel unable to move forward.

Thanks for Forgiveness

Pray for one person who feels helpless, for the friends who are already carrying them, and for your own willingness to keep carrying them in prayer and care. Ask God to let your words and actions point them to Jesus.
