6. Formal Translation But in order that you may know that the Son of Man {huios tou anthropou, Earthly Forgiver} has authority on the earth to forgive sins, He then says to the paralytic, “Rise up, lift your bed, and go to your house.” |
6. Dynamic Translation But so that you will realize that the Son of Man {huios tou anthropou, Compassionate Ruler} has the right here on earth to forgive sins, He then said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, pick up your mat, and go home.” |
