3. Formal Translation Therefore, thus says the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Judge}: Behold, I am devising calamity against this family, from which you will not be able to pull your necks away; and you will not walk in haughtiness, for it is a time of calamity. |
3. Dynamic Translation So the LORD {Yahweh, Just Ruler} says: Look, I am planning trouble for this clan, and you will not be able to get your necks out of it. You will not walk around proudly, because it is a time of misery. |
