10. Formal Translation Writhe and moan, daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor; for now you will leave the city and live in the field, and then go on to Babylon. There you will be delivered; there the LORD {Yahweh, Exile-Redeemer} will redeem you from the hand of your enemies. |
10. Dynamic Translation Twist in pain and cry out, Daughter Zion, like one giving birth; now you will leave the city and stay in the open country, and then go on to Babylon. There you will be rescued; there the LORD {Yahweh, Saving King} will reclaim you from your enemies’ grasp. |
