Formal Translation When evening shadows fell at the gates of Jerusalem before the Sabbath, I ordered the doors to be closed, and I commanded that they must not be opened until after the Sabbath. I stationed some of my young men at the gates, so that no burden would be brought in on the Sabbath day. |
