16. Formal Translation After him, Nehemiah son of Azbuk, official of half the district of Beth Zur, made repairs up to the point opposite the tombs of David, as far as the constructed pool and as far as the House of the Mighty. |
16. Dynamic Translation Following him, Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler over half the district of Beth Zur, repaired the section—starting at the spot across from David’s tombs, and continuing all the way to the artificial pool and the House of the Heroes. |
